	2	Alcott Louisa M. Little Women UK Hodder & Stoughton 1920 Hardcover Poor No Jacket Gray, ME You will be buying this for the illustrations by ME Gray (Maria Emma? Maria Emma was an illus b. 187 d. 1876 & LW was an 1868 book so maybe it's her - je ne sais quoi) Gray also had work in "Princess Mary's Gift Book, a volume printrd to raise $ for the Queen's "Work for Women Fund" 1915 but this appears to be work commissioned for the book so that shoots down my Emma Maria theory - the book's boards are loose as are some initial pages, there's pencilling on the cover & in the first few pp, some of the tipped in prints are loose AND the last 2-3 pp are awol (I've put in the missing paragraphs). 'Much read' is probably the most generous description. Book weighs 1kg+ Price: 40.00 AUD
